- Physical ID Card (animal & handler identification).
- Recognition Gear: Service Dog vest, bandana, or harness.
- KLM Medical/Assistance Approval (mandatory for PSAs & Service Dogs).
- EU Pet Passport or EU Health Certificate when traveling in/out of the EU.
- Microchip (ISO-compliant) required for all EU pet travel.
- Rabies Vaccination Certificate compliant with EU regulations.
- Pet-in-Cabin Program for ESA-style travel: paid pet fee, carrier size rules.

- Registration Certificate (our approved registry is accepted by all airlines).

Steps to Take (in Order)
- Submit a request for KLM assistance-animal approval immediately after booking.
- Verify EU/Netherlands pet import rules for your itinerary.
- Carry digital and printed copies of all veterinary and approval documents.
Route Limitations (Assistance Animals)
- PSAs and Service Dogs are accepted on all eligible KLM routes.
- ESAs may travel only as pets in cabin for a fee.
- Some destinations (UK, Ireland, Australia, Japan) require additional permits.
- Floor space for large dogs may be limited depending on aircraft.
