Steps to Take (in Order)

Submit a request for KLM assistance-animal approval immediately after booking.
Verify EU/Netherlands pet import rules for your itinerary.
Carry digital and printed copies of all veterinary and approval documents.

Route Limitations (Assistance Animals)

PSAs and Service Dogs are accepted on all eligible KLM routes.
ESAs may travel only as pets in cabin for a fee.
Some destinations (UK, Ireland, Australia, Japan) require additional permits.
Floor space for large dogs may be limited depending on aircraft.
