Routine deworming is recommended, particularly for dogs spending time in rural or forested areas.

Luxembourg has no national breed bans.
However, certain breeds may require leashes or muzzles in public, depending on municipal safety rules.
Public Transport & Transit Rules
Service Dogs are permitted on Luxembourgish public transportation, including buses and trains.
Pets may require a carrier, ticket, muzzle, or leash depending on operator policies, but Service Dogs travel without restrictions and fees.
