Quick Checklist (Bring to the Airport)

Required Documentation & Gear (must bring)

  • Physical ID Card (animal & handler identification).
  • Recognition Gear: Service Dog vest, bandana, or harness.
  • Pre-Approval for Service Dogs through EasyJet Special Assistance.
  • UK/EU Animal Travel Compliance (microchip, rabies vaccine, route restrictions).
  • Veterinary Health Certificate when required.

Preferred Documentation (greatly facilitates acceptance and pre-clearance)

  • Registration Certificate (our approved registry is accepted by all airlines).
  • Prescription Letter (PSA requirement) confirming psychiatric need.
  • Behavior Certificate confirming calm, safe public behavior.

Steps to Take (in Order)

  • Contact EasyJet Special Assistance immediately after booking.
  • Submit documentation required for Service Dog approval.
  • Confirm all UK/EU animal travel rules for your specific route.
  • Bring printed and digital copies of all required documents.

Route Limitations (Assistance Animals)

  • Only trained Service Dogs are permitted in the cabin.
  • ESAs are not recognized but may qualify as PSA Dogs when properly documented.
  • Entry rules for the UK/EU may require additional vet checks.
  • Some smaller aircraft may restrict large Service Dogs due to space.
