- Physical ID Card (animal & handler identification).
- Recognition Gear: Service Animal vest, bandana, or harness.
- Asiana Special Assistance Approval (required for PSAs & Service Dogs).
- Veterinary Health Certificate compliant with the destination’s regulations.
- Microchip (ISO-compliant) for international travel.
- Rabies Vaccination Certificate valid for travel.
- Import Documentation for destinations such as the U.S., EU, or Japan.
Preferred Documentation (greatly facilitates acceptance and pre-clearance)
- Registration Certificate (our approved registry is accepted by all airlines).
- Prescription Letter confirming PSA or Service Dog need from a licensed professional.
- Behavior Certificate confirming controlled temperament and public-safe behavior.

Route Limitations (Assistance Animals)
- Trained Service Dogs and PSAs are accepted on Asiana’s international and domestic routes.
- ESAs are not accepted under any circumstances.
- Some destination countries require advance quarantine clearance.
- Space limitations may apply depending on aircraft type.
- Additional restrictions may apply on long-haul routes.
