  • Asiana Special Assistance Approval (required for PSAs & Service Dogs).
  • Veterinary Health Certificate compliant with the destination’s regulations.
  • Microchip (ISO-compliant) for international travel.
  • Rabies Vaccination Certificate valid for travel.
  • Import Documentation for destinations such as the U.S., EU, or Japan.

Preferred Documentation (greatly facilitates acceptance and pre-clearance)

  • Registration Certificate (our approved registry is accepted by all airlines).
  • Prescription Letter confirming PSA or Service Dog need from a licensed professional.
  • Behavior Certificate confirming controlled temperament and public-safe behavior.

  • Apply for Asiana assistance-animal approval after booking.
  • Confirm veterinary and import requirements for your destination.
  • Carry printed & digital copies of all documents.

Route Limitations (Assistance Animals)

  • Trained Service Dogs and PSAs are accepted on Asiana’s international and domestic routes.
  • ESAs are not accepted under any circumstances.
  • Some destination countries require advance quarantine clearance.
  • Space limitations may apply depending on aircraft type.
  • Additional restrictions may apply on long-haul routes.
