Required Documentation & Gear (must bring)

  • Physical ID Card (animal & handler identification).

  • Aerolíneas Argentinas Special Assistance Pre-Approval for Service Dogs & PSAs.
  • Veterinary Health Certificate valid for domestic or international travel.
  • Rabies Vaccination Certificate in accordance with Argentinian regulations.
  • Microchip (ISO-compliant) for international destinations.
  • Pet-in-Cabin Requirements: ESA-style travel must follow paid pet policies (carrier limits, weight, fees).

Route Limitations (Assistance Animals)

  • Service Dogs and PSAs are accepted on domestic and international routes.
  • ESAs may travel only as pets in cabin for a fee.
