- After booking, contact Aer Lingus to register your Service Dog and request special assistance.
- For U.S.–Ireland routes, submit all Service Dog documentation for advance approval.
- Ensure all EU-required veterinary documents match your travel route.
- Bring printed and digital copies of all paperwork and present them at check-in.
Route Limitations (Service Dogs)
- Aer Lingus accepts trained Service Dogs and psychiatric service dogs in the cabin on most transatlantic and European routes.
- ESAs must meet the airline’s pet-in-cabin conditions and fee structure.
- Flights to the UK, EU, and Ireland require strict compliance with rabies and microchip regulations.
- Some airports (e.g., Dublin, Shannon) may require a veterinary inspection on arrival.
- Space limitations may apply on narrow-body aircraft used on European routes.
